RBS are delighted to be collaborating with the UCLU Women in Finance society. Together, we will be running a four-part skills series that has been designed for students that would like to

·         Develop their confidence and personal brand
·         Learn more about what it like to be a female working within financial services
·         Discover intern and graduate opportunities at RBS
·         Hear from recent graduates, UCL Alumni and RBS recruiters.

The sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 1-2pm at UCL.

Part one of the series will look at how you can develop your personal brand. We’ll explore what assertiveness is, and how you can develop confidence for success. The session will be delivered by a trained female development facilitator from RBS.
Date: Tues 15-Nov-16 from 1-2pm in Chandler House room B02

Part two of the series will look at 2017 graduate and internship opportunities at RBS. One of our recruitment consultants and a recent graduate will be on campus to provide you with advice and guidance on how to make a successful application to us. We offer a wide range of graduate programmes, summer internships and female insight weeks across our businesses and functions, meaning there are a diverse range of opportunities to take advantage of. Wherever you’re interested in joining, a degree in a Finance or Economics related subject isn’t necessary; just talent and passion.  Come and speak to us about opportunities to develop your career with RBS.
Date: Tues 22-Nov-16 from 1-2pm in Chandler House 118 (Lecture theatre)

Part three of the series will provide you with the chance to informally network with graduates and UCL alumni working at RBS. This is a fantastic opportunity to speak to RBS representatives who studied at UCL and ask them how they applied the skills from their degree to the recruitment process. Don’t miss this opportunity to find out more about working life at RBS and what it is like to be on the graduate programme.
Date: Tues 29-Nov-16 from 1-2pm in Chandler House room B02

Part four of the series will focus on Women in Technology at RBS and what it is like to be a female working in a typically male-dominated environment. Graduates from our Technology & Business solutions division will talk about what they do and provide further insight on RBS values and working culture. They will provide an overview of why Technology is such an exciting area of the bank to be in, along with exciting projects/innovations they have exposure to. Come along to hear how RBS is supporting females - what networks exist within the bank and how colleagues are trained and developed.
Date: Tues 06-Dec-16 from 1-2pm in Chandler House room B02
